Is Notcho Nocheez™ real cheese?
No, it is a dairy free alternative that is made with almonds, nutritional yeast, peppers, lemon juice and seasonings. The nutritional yeast is what gives it the “cheesy” delicious flavor.
Is Notcho Nocheez™ organic?
Some ingredients are organic, but at this time the product is not organic. We are working to make an all organic product.
Is Notcho Nocheez™ non-GMO?
All of our products are now Non-GMO Project Verified. Look for the Butterfly!
Can you heat Notcho Nocheez™?
Yes! Notcho Nocheez™ mixes well with tomato sauce or can be stirred into hot pasta, veggies or potatoes. It can be baked on tortilla chips for a “nacho” type of snack.

What is GDL (gluco-delta lactone)?
Instead of citric acid or lactic acid, we chose to use the plant-based acidifier (GDL), which does not alter the flavor and would allow for us to meet product safety requirements and have a shelf-stable product. GDL is made from a non-GMO rice or corn product.
How long does Notcho Nocheez™ last after it is opened?
Notcho Nocheez™ should be kept refrigerated after it’s opened. For best flavor, we recommend consuming within 7-10 days of opening.
What flavors does Notcho Nocheez™ come in?
We currently offer 3 flavors, “Classic”—the most cheesy, “Tangy”—a zesty lemon flavor, and “Hot”—made with habanero peppers that are sure to knock your socks off!
Is Notcho Nocheez™ hummus?
No. While the consistency may remind some consumers of hummus, a typical hummus contains beans and possibly sesame seeds. Notcho Nocheez™ does not contain beans or seeds; it’s base is almonds.

The calories come from the almonds and each serving (1/4 cup serving size) contains 100 calories.

The fat comes from the almonds and each serving (1/4 cup serving size) contains 8g of fat (0g trans fat; 0.5g saturated fat).

While Notcho Nocheez™ does not contain gluten or wheat products; we cannot guarantee there is not cross-contamination potential with our manufacturer.

What is your shipping policy?
Orders are typically shipped within 1-2 business days of the order being placed and are shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. If you provide an email address during checkout, you will receive a shipment tracking number when the order is prepared for shipment. We cannot ship to PO boxes.
